ECU Jets New Operations Manager!

Jets Members,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the new Operations Manager for the ECU Jets Sport Association as Whitney Barron.

Whitney is very passionate about three things: sports; building a strong sense of community; and the ECU Jets. Whitney has gained a great deal of experience in a pivotal club development role at the Titans Netball club, where she worked closely with the WDNA to create and grow new sports tournaments and community programs. Witney is coming from a Managerial role at ANZ Bank where her leadership and organisational development skills have set new benchmarks for performance and growth. Plus, her finance and accounting experience in the Banking industry endow her with a critical proficiency for the Operations Manager role at the Jets.

We feel that Whitney will be a great fit with the club and make a significant contribution to the growth, development and value we provide to you, our Jets members.

We would like to thank all the candidates who applied for the role; there were several quality candidates. A matrix of objective measures and competencies was used during the application and interview processes and the very best candidate was chosen.

So a big ECU Jets welcome to Whitney and we look forward to taking flight with you on July 31.
