ECU Jets appoint inaugural CEO
Trent Barron Appointed Inaugural CEO of the ECU Jets
The Edith Cowan University Jets Amateur Sports Club Inc has announced the appointment of Trent Barron as their inaugural Chief Executive Officer. Trent will take up the position on the 1st of December 2016.
Trent has been a director of the Jets since its inception last year and took a lead role in creating the club whilst also coaching the Netball 1 team. He steps down from his directorship to move into the CEO role.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the directors, heads of sport, coaches and players to expand and grow the club in the immediate future.”
Dom Lindsay ECU Jets Director said on the appointment “Having known Trent for several years it’s exciting for the direction of the club to appoint someone with Trent’s experience, passion and capability.”
Trent comes to the ECU Jets with a Business degree majoring in Accounting, five years banking experience and most recently he served as Vice President of the ECU Student Guild.
The board welcomes the appointment and looks forward to working with Trent.
The ECU Jets are a multi-disciplinary sports club across AFL, Netball, Futsal, Cheer, Volleyball and Touch Rugby. We are looking to expand further and provide more opportunities to our members.
